Natasha Lyonne plays Megan, a typical all-American cheerleader who excels in school and is dating a football player. However, her lack of enthusiasm for kissing her boyfriend, interest in vegetarianism and Melissa Etheridge, and habit of staring at her fellow cheerleaders cause her parents to suspect their daughter may be a lesbian. When Megan's sent to a “conversion therapy” camp, she learns to embrace who she is with the help of love interest Graham (Clea DuVall). This biting satire skewering homophobia remains as relevant – and highly entertaining – as it was on its first release in the late '90s.
