Klara and the Sun

Based on Nobel Prize-winner Kazuo Ishiguro’s bestselling novel and written and directed by Taika Waititi (Jojo Rabbit), KLARA AND THE SUN stars Jenna Ortega as an observant, empathetic android devoted to a grieving young girl in a futuristic world. As their bond deepens, Klara’s faith in the sun—and in the power of love—challenges the boundaries between humanity and technology. A poignant blend of comedy and drama, the film also stars Amy Adams, Mia Tharia, and Steve Buscemi.
