Master genre filmmaker Walter Hill conceived this operatic rock ‘n’ roll, neo-western that fuses ‘50s culture with an ‘80s style. After pop star Ellen Aim (Diane Lane) is kidnapped by Willem Dafoe and his outlaw motorcycle gang, it’s up to Aim’s ex-boyfriend (Michael Paré) to bring her home. STREETS OF FIRE is a bonafide cult classic, featuring power ballads and a synth heavy soundtrack alongside a stellar ensemble that also includes Amy Madigan, Rick Moranis and Bill Paxton.
