Join us once a month this summer at the Abington Art Center, as we gather outside to watch movies under the stars! The Hiway Theater and Abington Art Center, in partnership with The Moving Picture Cinema, bring outdoor movies to the community with our Outdoor Cinema Series.
Built in 1939, the Abington Art Center resides within Alverthorpe Manor (formerly the residence of Lessing J. Rosenwald and his family) and features a studio school, innovation center, exhibition galleries and a sculpture park.
The Moving Picture Cinema is an independent outdoor, mobile cinema unit that puts on shows across eastern Pennsylvania. TMPC's mission is to create an authentic and classic moviegoing experience at unique venues.
